What We Eat

I've had a lot of food related work over the past couple of months, from covering the amazing Vermont Traditional Foods and Health Symposium at Shelburne Farms, working on a piece with Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield (of Ben & Jerry's ice cream fame,) searching out and photographing one of Vermont's most sought after beers, Heady Topper, to working a bunch with my friends at Aqua Vitea, a Kombucha brewery just down the street. It's gotten me thinking a lot about what we eat... where it comes from, what it does for us, how it affects our environment... the list goes on. One thing I am sure of is that it makes good sense to find sources where the people involved in producing your food have as much creativity, love, and attention to detail as Mike Kin, head brewer at Aqua Vitea.
